Harry J. Lawall, Sr., CP died on March 15. Lawall is survived by his wife Rosemary, nine children (five sons who are in the family business), and 30 grandchildren.

He founded Harry J. Lawall & Son Inc. in October 1977 with his son Harry J. Lawall, Jr., CPO. Through the ensuing years, his sons Wayne, John, David and Christopher and granddaughter Andrea have entered the field of orthotics and prosthetics.

Lawall always followed the same basic principles of quality service and hard work. This philosophy proved successful. Harry J. Lawall & Son Inc., Lawall Prosthetics/Orthotics Inc. and Lawall at Hershey Inc. have 17 patient care centers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and employ more than 200 people.

Officials from the Fillauer Companies Inc. recently announced changes in management roles for the company. B. Kenneth Driver, formerly president, is now vice chairman and vice chief executive officer. Dennis S. Williams, formerly executive vice president, is now president and chief operating officer for the company.

Driver joined the Fillauer Companies in 1994 as president and chief operating officer. Previously serving as president and chief operating officer of Hosmer Dorrance Corporation, Driver brought valuable knowledge and experience from his years in the industry.

Williams joined the Fillauer Companies in 2002 as executive vice president of sales and marketing. Previously he was involved in senior management positions with companies such as Ossur, Century 22, Biomedical Horizons and Camp International. He has brought a range of beneficial experience to Fillauer in the areas of sales, marketing and product development. Williams is a certified practitioner with a Tennessee license.

According to a company press release, the management changes display Fillauer’s continuity of management and commitment to pursue the company’s goal of growth and advancement.
