2007 ISPO World Congress Heads to Vancouver

The 12th World Congress of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics will be July 29 to Aug. 3 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The meeting, held in the Vancouver Exhibition and Convention Centre, will offer scientific sessions, workshops and symposia, trade exhibits and an active social program.

The Congress theme, “Moving Beyond Disability,” provides a basis for a varied and informative program. In addition to the scientific presentations, instructional courses, and technical workshops, focused symposia will cover topics ranging from state-of-the-art clinical applications to psychosocial aspects of prosthetic and orthotic care. Since ISPO is a multidisciplinary organization, delegates can interact and learn from other health care professionals and technical experts. A consumer program on Aug. 1 will provide a forum for people living with disabilities to take advantage of learning opportunities.

O&P Business News will be exhibiting at the World Congress. Stop by booth 401 to say hello to the publishing staff.
