Touch Bionics Adds to Teams

Touch Bionics recently expanded its sales, marketing, production and design teams.

Bill Graham was named U.S. sales manager for the eastern division. Graham brings more than 30 years experience in sales and management in the medical industry. He most recently worked with Otto Bock HealthCare, where for 7 years his territory covered parts of the southeast United States. Before working in prosthetics and orthotics, Graham taught high school biology, performed sales for pharmaceutical and medical supply companies, and was a regional sales manager for a worldwide infusion manufacturer. He is based out of Palmetto, Fla.

Tim Stevens was named U.S. sales manager for the western division. Stevens has almost 20 years experience in sales, 16 of which have been in the medical field. He has experience in the areas of orthopedics, orthotics and prosthetics, physical and occupational therapy and rehabilitation. Stevens has held positions with a range of companies including General Motors, Dow Chemicals, American Home Products (Wyeth), Aircast, and Bauerfeind Ortho, and has also performed medical distribution consulting for Extreme Velocity Sports (EVS). He is based out of Pleasanton, Calif.

Gaurav Mishra was named director of international business development. Mishra has more than 10 years senior management experience in diverse areas. He also has extensive experience developing international business for high technology companies, successfully setting up and managing relationships with channel partners in more than 30 countries across six continents. Mishra was a fighter pilot in the Air Force.

Fiona Macintyre was appointed marketing manager and will be responsible for implementing the company’s U.S. marketing strategy. Macintyre previously worked for Motorola, where she held a range of positions including product marketer and manufacturing planner. She also previously held the position of marketing manager for Weir Services. She will be based out of Touch Bionics’ headquarters in Livingston, Scotland.

Derek Smith was named senior mechanical engineer. He previously worked for Polaroid, where he worked on precision mechanisms and support of manufacturing. Smith most recently held the position of principal engineer with Biopta.

Fred Tatlow joined the company as a mechanical engineer. Tatlow, who worked for Poloroid for 30 years, is an expert in manufacturing processes and manufacturing systems.
