University of Michigan Orthotics and Prosthetics Center Announces New Hire

The University of Michigan Orthotics and Prosthetics Center recently announced that Sara Pschigoda, CO, has joined its team. Pschigoda, who also has prosthetic training, is working as the acute care team lead at the UH O&P Satellite.

She is certified in orthotics by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC). She holds a bachelor’s degree in material science and engineering from Michigan State University as well as a master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University. She was a quality engineer for the Robert Bosch Corporation prior to continuing her education in O&P. Pschigoda completed her orthotic residency at UM and her prosthetic residency at Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics in Maine.
