Carli Cohen has been hired as the new marketing coordinator for the Board of Certification/Accreditation, International (BOC). She is responsible for implementing marketing strategy to improve communication with stakeholders and uphold customer satisfaction. She is also charged with building BOC’s brand awareness and solidifying the brand with new initiatives in print, web and social media.
“Carli will be an asset to BOC. As we continue to expand, we need new, customer-centric communications that strengthen our ability to serve our certificants and accredited facilities,” Claudia Zacharias, MBA, CAE, president and chief executive officer of BOC, stated in a press release. “Carli possesses the talent and initiative we were looking for, and we couldn’t be happier that she accepted our invitation to join our team.”
Cohen comes to BOC from Rice Consulting, in Bel Air, Md., a firm that provides organizational fundraising for political campaigns in Maryland. Cohen worked closely with the design and new media outreach director, managing client websites, social media accounts, and other forms of new media outreach. She also worked on fundraising events and designed and produced client event invitations and publications. Cohen is a graduate of Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
