Michael Estrada, executive vice president of new business initiatives of Thorlo, Inc., has been appointed to serve a 3-year term on the Amputee Coalition’s board of directors, according to a press release.
“I am thrilled to be elected to the Amputee Coalition board of directors,” Estrada stated in a press release. “This opportunity allows me to help my peers as many have helped me.”
A transtibial amputee, Estrada received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He served on the board of directors of Champs Sporting Goods and was appointed to the North Carolina Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Health for two terms.
Previously, Estrada was vice president at Restore-Earth, and held executive roles in marketing for Reebok International, Rockport, After Hours Formal Wear and The Sport Shoe.
