New prosthetic care facility opens in Virginia

The Prosthetic Care Facility, a new clinical practice serving patients with upper and lower limb loss, is opening in Leesburg, Va.

The facility is owned by John Hattingh, CP, LPO, CPO(SA), the previous owner and principal prosthetist for Northwest Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinic in Seattle, Wash.

“We look forward to working with patients in Northern Virginia helping them achieve their highest level of function, activity and mobility,” Hattingh stated in a press release. “Our facility provides state-of-the-art technology for customized fittings of body-powered as well as bionic prostheses and includes a gait analysis lab to measure patient performance.”
