OPAF to launch First Fit at AOPA World Congress

On Sept.21, the Orthotic and Prosthetic Activities Foundation (OPAF) will introduce First Fit in Orlando as part of the Limb Loss Education Day in conjunction with the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) World Congress, according to a press release. Featuring Joe DeLamielleure as part of the teaching staff, First Fit will offer an introduction to a fitness routine developed for the individual needs of each participant.

OPAF recently celebrated the eighth anniversary of the First Volley Adaptive Tennis Clinic. Since the launch of First Volley, OPAF has developed 10 more First Clinics and has hosted more than 200 First Clinics around the nation, offering a wide variety of recreational opportunities to anyone with a physical challenge.
