Ekso Bionics Holdings has announced the appointment of Stanley Stern, MBA, as an independent director of the firm, effective immediately.
Stern’s appointment expands the board to six directors, according to a company press release.

He is also chairman of the board of Audiocodes, a leader in voice over internet protocol infrastructure equipment, and a member of the board and chairman of the audit committee for Foamix, according to the release.
Prior to founding Alnitak, Stern was a managing director at Oppenheimer & Co. from 1995 to 2000 and from 2004 to 2013, where, among other positions, he led the firm’s investment banking department and technology investment banking groups. He also previously held roles at Salomon Brothers, STI Ventures and C.E. Unterberg, according to the release.
