Scheck & Siress acquires Woodfield Orthotics and Prosthetics

Scheck & Siress, based in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., recently announced its acquisition of the Chicago-based Woodfield Orthotics and Prosthetics. Woodfield Orthotics and Prosthetics is owned by Brett Kramer, who purchased the business from his father in 2000. Woodfield Orthotics and Prosthetics has three offices, all in Illinois.

“We are excited to welcome Brett and his team to Scheck and Siress. It brings together two companies with a common to a patient-first focus and doing whatever it takes to meet our patients’ specific needs. Brett is a great leader and we are pleased that he is joining the Scheck & Siress leadership team,” Jim Kingsley, chief operating officer for Scheck & Siress, stated in a post on the Scheck & Siress website. “This increases our network to 15 locations in the Chicago and northwest Indiana area. This is part of our ongoing commitment to grow our business and expand our scope to make Scheck’s leading orthotic and prosthetic care even more convenient for patients.”

Kramer stated, “Woodfield O&P and Scheck & Siress have established reputations of excellence over many decades in the Chicagoland area. It makes great sense to strategically align our companies to enable us to continue providing the quality care our patients deserve for decades to come.”
