In a press release, Hiemstra-Paez said, “Since starting Allard USA, we have had the privilege of restoring quality of life to so many people with our braces. Jamie [Button] is the ideal person to continue that tradition since he has been an Allard brace-wearer himself and knows how important our O&P relationships are.”

Button is a management specialist who has led companies in various industries including business telecommunications systems, oil refining, entertainment industry transportation and methanol production. He also has worked as a private equity investor and investment banker. He earned a master’s degree from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester.

Button began serving on the board of Allard USA’s Dralla Foundation, which supports programs for children with physical challenges, in 2013.

“My work with Allard USA’s charitable foundation has been rewarding,” Button said in the release. “I appreciate the company’s confidence in my leading its business organization to a higher level. We will increase distribution of the company’s superior orthopedic devices and expand the company’s product line with innovative products to offer ‘support for better life’ for a greater number of individuals living with physical challenges.”
