US-ISPO Pac Rim 2016

LIHUE, HAWAII — More than 100 participants attended the U.S. National Member Society of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics Pac Rim Conference to hear speakers on a variety of prosthetic, orthotic, research, business, medical and clinical topics. Highlights included a keynote session from Frank Gottschalk, MD, of the University of Texas Southwest, on “Current lower limb amputee care: Its evolution over three decades” and a Skype presentation from Laura Miller, PhD, CP, of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, on “Current research in upper limb prosthetics at the center for bionic medicine.”

The next Pac Rim Conference will take place in January 2018.
