OPAF receives $15,000 Hanger Foundation grant

The Orthotic and Prosthetic Activities Foundation recently received a $15,000 grant from the Hanger Foundation to hold five First Stride/First Things First clinics in 2016.

According to a press release from the Orthotic and Prosthetic Activities Foundation, First Stride/First Things First provides an introduction to gait training for patients and therapists. The program is directed by Chris Doerger, PT, CP, clinical specialist in prosthetics for Össur.

First Stride/First Things First clinics are planned in Chicago; Greenville, S.C.; Durham, N.C.; and two more to-be-determined locations.
