VIDEO: Changes in O&P revolve around additive manufacturing

LAS VEGAS – Changes in O&P have revolved around additive manufacturing, including 3D printing, according to a video perspective from Mark Muller, MS, CPO, FAAOP, here at the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association World Congress.

Muller, a clinical instructor of the orthotics and prosthetics program at California State University, Dominguez Hills, said additive manufacturing has really taken off in the past 5 years.

“Additive manufacturing is going to be one of the ways that we are really going to be able to advance this profession,” he told O&P News. Muller also is a member of the O&P News 175.
