Extremity Games Announces Dates for eX6

Extremity Games 6 (eX6) dates are set for 2011: eX6 Motocross is scheduled for May 28, 2011, in Millington, Mich. and eX6 Main Event is scheduled for June 24-25, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas.

Next year, eX6 Motocross will be broken out into two divisions: limb loss and limb difference. Riders will race a two-moto format during Baja Acres’ Memorial Day race weekend. Athletes will be competing for a cash purse.

Instructional clinics at eX6 Main Event include skateboarding, rock climbing, wakeboarding, sit-boarding, kayaking and mountain biking. Exhibitions include motocross and mixed martial arts.

Elite and novice competitions are invited to attend eX6 Main Event. Elite competition athletes will compete for cash prizes, while novice athletes will compete for prizes. Cash prizes will be determined on the amount of participants in each competition/division.

Organized to raise awareness of the abilities of individuals living with limb loss or limb difference to compete in extreme sports, eX6 Main Event allows participants to demonstrate skill, persistence and passion while competing for prizes, according to a press release.

This event is made possible by the sponsorships from Wright & Filippis, College Park Industries, Ohio Willow Wood, FUL Bags, ResMed, Foresters, Ossur, Freedom Innovations, Aristo-Cast, O&P Business News and Harmonie Network, among dozens of other sponsors and partners.
