OPAF and First Volley Receive USTA Serves Grant

The Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF) and The First Clinics, founder of the First Volley Tennis Clinics, announced that they have been awarded a $10,000 grant from the United States Tennis Association philanthropic arm, USTA Serves. This is the fourth time in 5 years that First Volley has been a grant recipient from this division of the USTA.

These funds will represent at least five First Volley clinics across the country with Shriners Hospital for Children.

“We are so honored to have been selected again by USTA Serves as a recipient of one of their grants. These funds will allow Shriners patients and other attendees to learn or re-learn tennis skills and get them involved in an active lifestyle again,” Robin Burton, OPAF executive director, stated in a press release.
