| Anna Avakian |
Anna Avakian, CPO, has joined the SPS clinical staff as the director of clinical and technical services. Avakian’s primary focus will be directed towards SPS product education and field sales support. Her initial duties will be to assist SPS sales managers and SPS customers with a full spectrum of clinical education on products, patient selection and fitting techniques.
Avakian is an American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics Inc. accredited prosthetist and orthotist. Most recently Avakian served as the lead prosthetist for the Hanger Ivan R. Sabel Foundation Clinic in Dachapelle, Haiti. A graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. with a bachelor’s degree in physics, Avakian completed her prosthetics and orthotics education at Northwestern University.
“Anna’s unique clinical skills and dedication to team work will allow her to quickly assimilate on the SPS team and provide meaningful assistance to SPS customers,” Ron May, president and chief operating officer of SPS, stated in a press release.
