Touch Bionics Hires New Chief Executive Officer

Touch Bionics announced the appointment of its new chief executive officer, Ian Stevens. Stevens has taken over as chief executive officer from Stuart Mead.

Stevens joins Touch Bionics from medical devices companies Mpathy Medical, where he served as chief executive officer from 2007 to 2010, and Optos, where he served as chief financial officer and then general manager, North America from 1998 to 2007.

“I am very pleased to be joining Touch Bionics at such an important point in the company’s evolution,” Stevens stated in a press release. “I am looking forward to working with the team at Touch Bionics to ensure that the company enjoys continued success.”
