Orthocare Innovations announce the addition of Stephen Jacobs as vice president of sales and marketing, a new position in the company. Jacobs joins Orthocare from Checkpoint Surgical, where he served as vice president of sales and as a member of the company’s senior management team. His career includes sales, sales management and business development assignments with three Fortune 100 companies, including Abbott Laboratories, where he began his career, and Johnson & Johnson.
”It is energizing to work with a team that has visionary business leaders and engineers to develop and market truly novel prosthetics solutions,” Jacobs sstated in a company press release. “Orthocare’s primary focus is to develop products that advance the ability to assess and document objective, evidence-based measures of fit and function. Patients are seeking enabling devices which provide greater performance characteristics, and in return, payers are demanding maximum value for their investment.”
Jacobs brings more than 22 years of experience in the health care industry, with a focus in the bioscience and medical device sectors.
