On Monday, July 23, more than 22 wounded warriors teamed up with 50 members of the US Association of Former Members of Congress to participate in the annual bipartisan Congressional Charity Golf Classic, which raises funds for the Disabled Sports USA Warfighter Sports Program, according to a press release.

These former Senators and Representatives’ volunteer efforts have helped raise more than $250,000 from the charity golf tournament to support the Warfighter Sports program.

Warfighter Sports, a program of Disabled Sports USA, offers sports rehabilitation for severely wounded warriors in military hospitals and communities across the United States.
