Ability P&O hires two new employees

Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics welcomes Scotti Sawyer, CFO, and Susi Ebersbach, MT(ASCP), MBA, to the Ability team, according to a press release.

Hired as chief financial officer and controller, Sawyer brings more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience to Ability. A graduate from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa., she began her career in finance and accounting at Chase Manhattan Bank’s Capital Markets Internal Audit group, followed by Commonwealth Bank and Fannie Mae. Sawyer started her own consulting company, Castle Financial Consulting, which provided companies with SEC support, restructuring and mergers and acquisitions.

Ebersbach joined Ability P&O as an advanced billing and reimbursement specialist, bringing more than 25 years experience in health care management and marketing of ancillary health services, with the majority of her experience focused on the O&P field. A graduate of Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, Ebersbach was the director of reimbursement and compliance for Touch Bionics Inc., providing reimbursement assistance, as well as compliance and credentialing guidance. She also served as an independent consultant to health care clients in practice management, business development, marketing and contracting activities, as an adjunct faculty member in the Allied Health Division at Sinclair Community College and as the director of business development for POINT Health Center of America, Inc.
