Scheck & Siress welcomes new staff

Scheck & Siress Prosthetics Inc. welcomed new staff members and announced several promotions, according to a company news release.

Jason Wening, CPO, LPO, MS, FAAOP was promoted to laboratory manager at the Lincoln Park location. Wening, a bilateral amputee and biomechanist, joined Scheck in 2005.

Alex Trumper, CPO, LPOwill be the new laboratory manager at the Rush University Medical Center location. Trumper is certified to fit the C-Leg, WalkAide FES device and E-Mag Active orthosis, among others, and is trained in the Goss approach to scoliosis management.

Michael Cavanaugh, CPO will join the Lincoln Park office as a prosthetist and orthotist. He previously worked at Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics and completed his orthotic residency at Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics.

Thomas O’Doherty, CP was will also join the Lincoln Park location as a prosthetist. He has a combined 13 years of experience at Hanger, Keller Orthotics, Inc. and Walter Reed Medical Center.

Catherine Pospisil, CO, LO was hired at the Schaumburg office as an orthotist. Her previous experience includes interning at Hanger and serving as a practitioner at Northwestern University.

Jessica Gissalwas hired as the marketing manager. Most recently, she served as the creative marketing specialist for Benedictine University.
