The Prosthetic Outreach Foundation, based in Seattle, recently celebrated its 25th anniversary assisting amputees and orthopedic rehabilitation services in developing countries. The organization also changed its name to Mobility Outreach International.
The name change “is appropriate as we expand globally and add services such as clubfoot treatment and orthopedic surgery training,” according to Raymond Pye, director of emerging programs for the organization.
