Prosthetics and Orthotics International announces new editor-in-chief

The International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics recently announced a new editor-in-chief for the journal Prosthetics and Orthotics International.

Timothy M. Bach, PhD, a recently retired associate professor of biomechanics for La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia, has taken over the position from Sarah Curran, PhD, who was recently promoted at Cardiff Metropolitan University in Cardiff, Wales, according to a press release.

Bach is the former head of the National Centre for Prosthetics and Orthotics at La Trobe University. He has been a member of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) for more than 20 years and has held several leadership roles in the organization, including chair of the scientific committee of ISPO Australia, scientific chair of the ISPO 2007 World Congress in Vancouver and Editorial Board member for 3 years.
