VIDEO: Study confirms successful use of mild compression diabetic sock to treat lower extremity edema

ORLANDO, Fla. —  At the Pedorthic Footcare Association and American Podiatric Medical Association Combined Meeting, Michelle Winder, third-year student at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, shared the results of her study, “Control of Lower Extremity Edema in Patients with Diabetes: A Double Blind Randomized Control Trial Assessing the Efficacy of a Mild Compression Diabetic Sock,” which confirmed the positive effect of using a mild compression diabetic sock to treat patients with lower extremity edema.
