OPAF in Search of Artwork from the O&P Community

The Orthotic & Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF) and the First
Clinics are seeking artwork in orthotics and prosthetics (O&P). As part of
the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association National Assembly meeting in
Las Vegas this fall, OPAF will feature art in O&P at their booth space in
the exhibit hall.

They are seeking art, photography, sculpture, mixed media, quilting
and/or woodwork from anyone within the O&P community, patients and
practitioners, as well as family members. Do you have a patient who is
artistically inclined and would be willing to donate to have their work
displayed and auctioned? Are you an artist/enthusiast/photographer who would
submit a piece of your work for donation? Are you an art lover who wishes to
donate a piece from your own collection?

Submissions can include O&P subject matter or simply be created by
someone within the greater O&P community. All submissions will be auctioned
off to the highest bidder with the silent auction concluding at 6 p.m. on
Wednesday, September 21. Proxy bids will be accepted.

Please contact Robin Burton, OPAF executive director, at
319-235-4318 or rlb@opfund.org for more
details, questions or comments. Information is also available on the
OPAF Web site. We look forward
to your submissions for donation and appreciate the difference your donations
will make for First Clinics across the country.
