Ottobock names director of e-commerce and inside sales

Ottobock North America has named Chris Wintenburg, MEng, to fill its newly created position of director of e-commerce and inside sales.

Winternburg will manage e-business relationships, inside sales efforts and drive online sales for all business units and product categories.

 

Ottobock North America has named Chris Wintenburg, MEng, to fill its newly created position of director of e-commerce and inside sales.  Winternburg will manage e-business relationships, inside sales efforts and drive online sales for all business units and product categories. “The creation of this new position is part of a focused effort to strategically reach our customers in multiple sales channels,” Matt Swiggum, executive vice president of sales for Ottobock North America stated in a company press release. “Chris’ extensive experience in the areas of online and inside sales makes him a particularly good fit to lead this effort.” Wintenburg comes with nearly 13 years of experience at Dell Inc., where he served as online support product manager, e-business senior manager, services business manager and services solution director. He also served as an information technology manager with Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. in Boulder, Colo. He holds a master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Regis University.
